When Kai Cenat stepped away from streaming last October a lot of people thought he was done. He wasn't. He was in a studio making leather bags. And now that Vivet is out, I think it's the most interesting thing a streamer has done outside of a stream, because he didn't just slap his name on a hoodie, he actually went and learned how to make the stuff.

What is Vivet?
Vivet is Kai Cenat's clothing brand. The name comes from Latin and means "he, she, or it will live forever," which tells you exactly how he's thinking about it. This isn't merch. He's treating it like a fashion house.
The Vivet timeline
- October 2025: Kai steps away from streaming to focus on fashion.
- December 6, 2025: He announces Vivet on his kai's mind channel.
- December 7, 2025: At the Streamer Awards he says out loud he wants to be a fashion designer.
- January 13, 2026: He drops the "I Quit" documentary, 23 minutes, with his mom and celebrity stylist Law Roach, who mentored him. The title had everybody panicking until they realized it was a brand launch.
- January 20, 2026: He's at Paris Fashion Week Men's, sitting at Louis Vuitton with the Vivet journal in his hands.
- July 6, 2026: He comes back to streaming after nine months.
- September 12, 2026: Vivet's first collection debuts on the runway in New York at Cipriani during Fashion Week, and pieces go up on the site right after the show.
- October 2026: Vivet has a booth at ComplexCon in Los Angeles and Ye stops by.
What's in the first Vivet collection?
The debut collection is called Journal 1, and Kai walked GQ through every piece.
The highlights:
- The Beginner hoodie and sweatpants
- A streamer backpack, which he says is the first of its kind
- The Cenova bag and a mini Cenova
- A crackled raglan leather jacket, cargo jacket, and Oxford jacket
- Leather pants and slim denim
- And the boots, Electrician boots, ranch boots, combat boots, plus loafers
The leather and the boots are the tell for me. Streamer merch is hoodies. Leather boots is a designer trying to be taken seriously.
Where can you buy Vivet?
The official site is vivetofficial.com. That's the only place I'd trust, because fake Vivet sites popped up fast after the announcement. If it's not that URL, don't put your card in.
Why this matters
Kai went from Streamer of the Year to a runway in New York in less than two years. A Black kid from the Bronx who built his whole thing on Twitch got Law Roach to mentor him, sat front row in Paris, and showed at New York Fashion Week. Creators have been crossing into fashion for a while, I already made a list of the most stylish gamers in esports, but this is a different level. He's not a creator with a clothing line, he's trying to become a designer who happens to stream.
Whether the clothes hold up long term we'll see. But the effort is real.
