Actor Dallas Dupree Young has quickly emerged as one of Hollywood’s most engaging young talents, building a résumé that spans Nickelodeon, Netflix, and a range of acclaimed television dramas.

Born in Houston, he launched his career at just nine years old with the short film "In No Sense" and  followed it with appearances in "Murder Among Friends," "Shameless," "The Mayor," and "The Good Place". His breakout came with a recurring role on "The Fosters" before he landed a starring part in the Nickelodeon sitcom Cousins for Life. In 2021, Young reached a new level of visibility when he joined the cast of "Cobra Kai" on Netflix, stepping into the popular continuation of "The Karate Kid" franchise.

Young’s impact extends beyond on-screen performances. As a rising figure in entertainment, he has become an outspoken advocate for aspiring actors of color, using his platform to promote inclusion and opportunity within the industry.

In a 2022 interview with Sycamore Entertainment Group, he articulated his mission clearly: to inspire children “of any color to consider any field of work where they have been rejected in the past because of the color of our skin.” His measured, thoughtful, and unwavering voice reflects a young artist who sees representation as a responsibility he carries with intention.

What many fans may be surprised to discover is that Young is also an avid gamer with a deep love for esports culture. In a 2024 collaboration with Cxmmunity, he shared that his all-time favorite video game is NBA 2K, placing it at the top of his personal top-five list. Whether he’s stepping in front of the camera, advocating for the next generation, or diving into virtual courts, Dallas Dupree Young continues to expand his creative world—proving that his story, much like his career, is just getting started.
