Forza Horizon 6 hits Xbox and PC on May 19 and the gaming and motorsports community is already showing out! In the last few weeks there have been over 500,00 pre-sale orders and Xbox also announced a limited pink controller and headset that is  generating more buzz around the release.

But beyond the game itself, the timing couldn't be more significant. The real-world rise of Black drivers in motorsport; from Lavar Scott to Rajah Caruth, who are both carving their lane in NASCAR and the gaming industry. Rajah Caruth and Lavar Scott, who CXM interviewed last year, becoming one of the most exciting young black talents in motorsports which has created a cultural moment that Forza Horizon 6 is perfectly positioned to lean into.

For our community, this drop is more than a new game. Black kids who grew up watching motorsports from the outside are now the ones on the track, participating in iRacing, and driving the culture forward. Lavar Scott and Rajah Caruth aren't just athletes anymore, they're proof of concept that Black excellence belongs in racing culture at every level. Forza Horizon 6 gives a generation of young Black gamers a world to explore that mirrors the energy and ambition of drivers who look like them. That connection matters, and brands paying attention to this moment should take note of who's really driving the culture.
