Just in time for this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Sony has yet again given us another State of Play giving us another 35-minute presentation of exciting updates and surprises. From finally getting a gameplay trailer of Insomniac’s Wolverine, an extended look into Housemarque’s Saros, revealing a spiritual successor to Disco Elysium and a first look at Battlefield 6’s campaign, we break it all down here in case you missed it.
Insomniac's Wolverine emerged as the standout reveal during PlayStation's State of Play. Reserved for the finale of the livestream, viewers were treated to an extended look at extraordinarily violent gameplay that rivals even Mortal Kombat in its brutality.
The gameplay footage showcases Logan traversing through time, as he searches for answers of his past. Fueled by violent rage and unrelenting determination, we get a glimpse of the brutal combat, encountering Mystique, Omega Red, and Sentinel, riding a motorcycle, and traveling to different locations.
While we didn’t get an exact release date for the game, it's set to arrive Fall 2026. Insomniac also mentioned that we’ll get a more deeper look into the game in spring 2026.
